Bottomkote Racing Bronze® combines season long protection against fouling with a hard, smooth racing finish. This paint uses an acrylic resin to provide ease of application and a hard finish that is compatible with most other types of anti-fouling paints. Boat bottoms painted with Bottomkote Racing Bronze can be hauled out and trailered (on a short-term basis) without losing anti-fouling capability. This paint can also be wet sanded and burnished to provide an even smoother surface for racing sailboats or power boats. Fiberglass Bottomkote Racing Bronze is for use below the waterline on fiberglass, wood, and properly primed underwater boat hulls and parts (except aluminum.) This paint is effective in fresh or low fouling salt water on barnacles and zebra mussels. This is the bronze color paint commonly used on the bottoms of the old varniished runabouts.
